Beverly is a Homeschool/Public School mom. She has been a working part of the FAITH team for 6 years and supports Brandi in her passion for teaching the way of the Lord to our students.

Nicole Matute
Nicole was promoted to homeschool mom from public educator in 2017. She is thrilled to combine her passions of serving children for the Lord, education, history and language to serve FAITH's students. While her dual FL certification in secondary education, MS. Ed, and BA in English certainly help, it is her belief that every parent has the ability to be their child's best teacher that motivates her to serve FAITH's families.

Karen Andriola
Hi everyone! My name is Karen Andriola, Mom to 2 kiddos, Molly who attends New Smyrna Beach High School and Keith who attends FAITH. My passion and calling is to serve the Lord through my abilities in ADministration. Whatever I'm called to do in whatever season in life I'm in, I'm ADDing to the ministry God has called me into. I'm a full-time, lifelong volunteer and thoroughly enjoy pouring into my kids, all kids and our community in every way I can. I visualize myself as being a jack of all trades, master to none, servant to Jesus. I'm blessed to be a part of the FAITH family and here to serve.

Danielle Vanscoy
A homeschool mom of 2 young children and a certified Early Childhood teacher, Danielle graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Exceptional Student Education. With 11 years experience, she holds a teaching certification for children 3 years old to 3rd grade and has a separate reading endorsement. She believes the hybrid homeschool model provides the best of both worlds and is so thankful that FAITH is able to offer this to the homeschool community!

Andraia Lee
Andraia's energy and passion for working with children shines forth in all that she does. With and BA in business administration and 13 years of early childhood teaching experience and developing and engaging summer camps through her Cheertastics program, Ms. Andraia's class is sure to instill an excitement for learning in your child!

Tracy Kennedy
Hello families! My name is Tracy Kennedy and I will be teaching Volleyball and Art at FAITH this year! I received my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Art from Heidelberg University in Ohio. During my time studying at Heidelberg, I was able to play volleyball at the collegiate level which helped to develop my love for coaching. In the classroom, I have taught Kindergarten, Culinary, and Physical Education.

Amanda Stein
After many years of teaching in the public school system, Amanda had a strong tug from The Lord to home educate her own 3 children. She truly believes the hybrid homeschool model provides the perfect balance for our learners. She graduated from The University of Central Florida and holds a bachelors degree in Elementary Education, with additional endorsements in Reading, Gifted, and ESOL.. She has a passion for teaching, and for helping children to see the masterpiece that they are in the eyes of our Lord and Savior. She strives to create a learning environment for children to thrive in, and looks forward to being a part of the FAITH Homeschool Academy family.

Melissa O'Bryan
Melissa is a homeschooling mom of two girls and feels very privileged to have the chance to work with your kids at FAITH Academy! She holds an associate's degree in Business Administration, but especially has always had a love for reading, writing, and math. She is honored to have the opportunity to instill a love for these important subjects in your children from a young age.

Laurie Parker
Laurie is excited to start her 5th year of teaching at FAITH as a veteran homeschooling mom and nurse by trade. She is also a passionate advocate for pediatric cancer awareness, and avid online shopper. She is excited to pour both book knowledge and knowledge of the Lord into your children.

Natalie Hernandez
Mrs. Natalie has dedicated the past 11 years to homeschooling her 3 children in Volusia, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties utilizing various educational approaches, including co-ops, seminars, field trips, hands-on experiments, and touches of the traditional classroom experience. She holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Studio Art and Art History from Nova Southeastern University and loves encouraging student growth through exploration, experimentation, and freedom of expression. When she’s not teaching, Natalie enjoys fitness, oil painting, and spending time with family.

Lorena Perman
Lorena has served as a teacher at the FAITH for
6 years. She has homeschooled her 3 children, 2 of whom are now graduated. Originally from Costa Rica, she has a Bachelor's in Law from her country of origin.
She loves working with the children and has had the privilege to teach many subjects at different co-ops including Spanish, math, history, civics. Her focus is that in every subject, God will be honored. Christ’s name is present in discussions and her teaching always has a Christian perspective.

Steve Hernandez
Dr. Steve O. Hernandez brings together extensive experience in academia and the technology industry, underpinned by a rich history of educational innovation and leadership across more than two decades in each field. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University, he has significantly contributed to the evolution of technology education and the practical application of advanced research to solve real-world technical problems. His academic career is marked by substantial achievements in curriculum development and program leadership, focusing on software engineering, data science, and computer science. Dr. Hernandez continues to provide technical consultations to organizations around the world focusing on software engineering, technology strategy, and technical innovation. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Hernandez is actively involved in community service, dedicating his time to notable organizations such as The Boys and Girls Club, The American Red Cross, and Camilla’s House Soup Kitchen of Miami. This involvement underscores his commitment to leveraging his expertise for societal benefit and community improvement.

Sandy Hill
Through youth ministries like Good News Club and Sunday Bible Club, Ms. Sandy is always teaching. Her heart is in educating youth for God's glory. With her extensive background in management and taxes, she is excited to combine her true passion of working with youth with her knowledge and expertise.

Rachel Ogadah
Rachel is excited to start her 13th year homeschooling, 5 of which have been with FAITH. Utilizing her degree in educational studies, she's been teaching and tutoring in a variety of settings since 2006. Her passion is to make math accessible and engaging for all learners through various teaching methods!
Middle School
Bethany Peacock
A Florida native, Bethany Peacock was homeschooled throughout her childhood. She is a mother of 3 sons and an entrepreneur. Having a love for learning has caused her to develop strengths in language, writing, art, the preforming arts, and in biblical studies. There are nearly twenty years experience under her belt of working with children from toddlers to teenagers, including those with special needs. It is considered by her a great joy and honor to help empower the next generation.

Elizabeth Sheavly
Elizabeth has homeschooled her daughters through most of their education and has a passion for homeschooling. Her oldest daughter is graduating with Honors from Daytona State College this year. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor's degree with Honors from the University of Texas and has studied in University in South America. She has a passion to serve young people for the Lord and help equip them for life beyond high school.

Michelle Pons
Hi everyone! My name is Michelle Pons and I will be teaching agriculture and veterinary science courses at FAITH this year!
Athletics and agriculture have been the biggest part of my life since I can remember. I grew up playing volleyball and doing track. I eventually went on to compete as a D1 pole vaulter for the University of Central Florida where I received my bachelors degree in Biology Education. I have been an agriculture teacher for 17 years during which I also was a high school weightlifting and track and field coach. While teaching full time I obtained my masters degree in agriculture from the University of Florida.
My daughter River is 7 and competitively shows horses so when I’m not teaching we spend our time taking care of the horses and other animals on our farm.

Lindsay Dickinson
Homeschooling mom of two and our 2nd year with FAITH. After seeing my kids learn and grow I wanted to be a part of this family. I grew up in Ormond Beach and had my first experience with homeschooling when I was in high school. With over 15 years of entrepreneur/wedding planner experience I am excited to use those skills and help your kids learn and have a great year!

Sarah Pendleton
Sarah and her family have served as missionaries with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) for nearly 25yrs. They have worked and lived overseas in Afghanistan and Tajikistan and led missions initiatives to the most least reached places on the planet. Their missions work includes Refugee ministry, Bible smuggling/ evangelism in majority Muslim nations bringing the love of Jesus and seeing transformation to whole communities. They are now based in New Smyrna Beach where they have established The Refuge House of Prayer work in their non-profit organization United for the Least that supports persecuted Christians and refugees around the world.

Amber McLaughlin
Amber was blessed with an extensive performing arts career touring nationally and internationally to over 50 countries as a young professional. She was a Radio City Rockette in NYC for four years and landed several national commercials in LA.
Over the last 20 years the Lord utilized her expertise to direct, choreograph and teach a range of all ages and proficiencies in dance studios, performing arts centers, mega- churches, colleges, high schools, conferences, playhouses and theater camps.

Mary Cuchetti Roig
Mary Cuchetti Roig is a devoted mom, wife, music educator, passionate worshiper and creative musician . She brings her knowledge and experience from many years teaching both in Raleigh, NC and also at her family’s music school in Edgewater. She received her B.F.A in musical theatre from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and is currently on staff at Family Worship Center in Port Orange. She also works bringing music therapy to the assisted living communities across Volusia county.
