K4 with Ms. Danielle | AM

Our K4 program is designed to provide a fun and engaging learning environment for young children. We offer a variety of learning centers that encourage exploration and discovery, providing children with the opportunity to learn through creative play. Our centers include dramatic play, science, math, language arts, and more, so children can gain a well-rounded education while having fun.
K5 with Ms. Andraia | AM

Our K5 class offers engaging and creative fun for young children. Our experienced teachers provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore and develop their skills. Through play-based activities, children learn to express themselves while developing their physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
K4 with Ms. Andraia | PM

The afternoon will be filled with hands on activities, crafts, centers, songs, stories and lots of fun! Pre-K students will enjoy an afternoon of fun with read aloud stories, science and working on their handwriting/fine motor skills. We will be working on listening comprehension skills while listening to both fictional and non-fictional texts. We will also spend a portion of our afternoon engaging in fine motor activities to strengthen our fingers to become better writers. These will include working with play-dough, scissors, tweezers, and putting beads on strings or pipe cleaners.

K5 with Ms. Tracy | PM

Foundations with Ms. Melissa | 9:00

In this class students will cover topics that will lay the foundation for good learning abilities to come. They will have the opportunity to further practice concepts needed to become fluent readers — vowel sounds, phonics, and sight words. We read books together to instill a love for reading. We will also cover beginning writing skills like handwriting, punctuation, and building sentences. We play games and do activities that allow students to get out of their seats and have fun while learning!

In Math level 1, students will begin with counting, writing, and reading numbers and move on to addition skills, subtraction, learning place value, ordinal numbers, graphing, simple fractions, introduction to measuring, as well as counting money and telling time.
Reading 1 with Ms. Amanda | 11:00

Beginner readers need to spend time building good foundation to ensure success! Using TGTB Reading 1, we will take the time to learn the difference between vowels and consonants before moving on to consonant blends, short vowel sounds, and finally long vowel sounds. Students will begin learning sight words and as they start blending new words together they will be able to put all these skills together to start reading simple sentences.

Your little learners will be thrilled to discover a variety of branches of science using Masterbook's overview course for 1st grade scientists. Ms. Sandy's hands-on approach and enthusiasm will have them excited for class each day!
History 1 with Ms. Amanda | 3:00

From the Mountains to the Prairies America is a vast land full of History. We will explore
America's past using Notgrass curriculum and hands-on learning. Throughout history people
have worked hard, experienced heartache and come up with solutions. We will look at this
using a Biblical Worldview.

Fun Fitness 1-2 with Ms. Bethany | 2:00

In this class your student will take active to a new level with various kinds of specific exercise. Not only will they get a little training but they will have fun in the process. Let’s get moving!
Math 2 with Ms. Lorena | 9:00

Explore creation through math using Apologia's Math 2 and many hands on activities!
Reading 2 with Ms. Amanda | 10:00

Once a student has the basic skills of blending vowels and consonants together, they are ready to learn the many forms in which long vowels can occur, consonant blends, prefixes, and more! By building on these skills with TGTB Reading 2, students will build self-confidence and be ready to read on their own!
Writing 2 with Ms. Sandy | 11:00

This class will take the basic skills that were introduced last year and elevate them to the next
level. Students will learn the PAL framework for writing and then create well written stories using
the framework. By the completion of this course students will be able to put ideas into basic paragraphs with improved handwriting, grammar, and vocabulary.

Apologia's Earth Science offers students an amazing look into God's marvelous creations all across the earth! Please note that the textbook and the JUNIOR note booking journal are required.
History 2 with Ms. Sandy | 3:00

Learn the history of America's 50 states with Notgrass history!
Reading 3 with Ms. Amanda | 9:00

We will prepare our students for higher level thinking as we read through novels and focus on vocabulary and literary techniques in an organized and fun way using TGTB Level 3! Another focus will be discussing and applying the moral lessons and character values from the literature. We will also continue to work on spelling lists to promote good reading AND writing!

Math 3 will encourage your student to look at creation in a brand new way! By helping students to see the real world applications of math, through foundational math skills, Math 3 students will have a strong base on which to build year after year.
Writing 3 with Ms. Natalie | 11:00

Students in 3 writing will follow IEW's incremental approach to writing that will enable them to build confidence in their writing (and speaking!) abilities throughout the year. Using source texts, key vocabulary, and stylistic techniques, even the most reluctant writers will learn to write “with structure and style,” and improved handwriting.
Dance Around the World 3-4 w/ Ms. Natalie | 1:00

Geography, with its studies of cultures, foods, landscapes, and people groups, is fascinating. Mrs. Natalie is going to make it all that AND fun by getting your students moving and learning geography through different dances as our third and fourth graders dance around the world.

Continuing with IEW's incremental approach students began in Writing 3, students will increase their writing, communication, and thinking skills. By the end of this course, students will be writing multi paragraph compositions in narrative, expository, and imaginative styles while strengthening their grammar, spelling, and handwriting.
Math 4 with Ms. Lorena | 11:00

We will continue building a firm foundation of math concepts such as multi-digit addition,
multiplication, division, fractions and simple geometry. Students will learn using the chosen curriculum as well as hands on manipulatives. We will discover real life math practices preparing students for their future.
Finance 4-6 with Ms. Amanda | 1:00

Utilizing Abeka's 4th grade history, students will learn more about US history with a special focus on our own state of Florida.
